My BackgroundAs a child, my mother insisted, “He’s not weird, he’s eccentric." I was happy, behind the sofa with my thoughts.
My early work-life still allowed me time to ponder. I’d rush through programming tasks and then get back to my introspective exploration of reality. “He’s not asleep”, my boss would assure passersby. “He’s just thinking.”
As life grew more hectic it became harder to find the time. In 2015, I took a year off to share my musings in a novel. Unfortunately, I accidentally wrote a virtual reality game and became hooked on XR development for a decade.
In 2025 the overwhelming urge to purge myself returned. There’s a high-pressure backlog in here and if it all comes out at once it’s going to be an explosive mess. With some restraint, I might be able to achieve a controlled flow of almost-understandable novellas that explore the curious reality of The Ambient Flux.
